As a contributor to the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Model-Integrated Smart Manufacturing, Bernhard Wally’s main research focus is on the application of model-driven engineering in the context of Industry 4.0. Further, he investigates the modeling of smart environments, also known as cyber-physical systems or IoT. He received his BSc and MSc from the University of Applied Sciences Hagenberg. Previously, he held positions as project assistant in the Business Informatics Group at the Institute of Information Systems Engineering (TU Wien), operations manager of and key researcher in the Research Studio Pervasive Computing Applications (RSA FG, Vienna), and researcher at the Department of Pervasive Computing (JKU Linz).
